Michael Douglas honors Karl Malden on 'Throwback Thursday'

Michael Douglas just contributed to 'ThrowbackThursday' Facebook page, posting a photo of Karl Malden and him taken during filming of The Streets of San Francisco. Along with the picture, Michael added the following tribute to his mentor:

"Academy Award/Emmy Award winning actor Karl Malden was my mentor. Starring opposite him in Streets of San Francisco, he taught me one of the most important lessons of my career - what matters most is to work to make the whole show the best it can be and then your own performance will shine. It was a valuable lesson I always keep with me whether producing or just acting in a film."

It's like getting back to the Streets of San Francisco in a certain way. ;)
