WORLDVISION PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

Worldvision Enterprises Inc., a subsidiary of ABC, released a 'Standard A' sized folder as part of its home video promotion campaign for the series in the 1980's, along with several full-page advertisements published in relevant television programs and the like. Our two cops formed the front page of the folder, designed as a 'silhouette cut'. Steve had to be unfolded to the left, and Mike to the right, so the full center became visible. Apart from the general information on the series, this folder offered some nice productions stills and a sophisticated all-over design which was rather uncommon for the re-distribution of a 1970's cop series.

The full-page advertisement for the campaign combined the series' title as seen in the folder, and a sunset shot of a Cable Car on top of one of the many hills of San Francisco, complemented by the subtitle 'San Francisco Giants' - an indicated dependance upon the famous San Francisco baseball team - and a summary of the series' general data. Furthermore, you can find a selection of Worldvision press release photos.

WARNER BROS. PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

Warner Brothers Inc. published several promotional materials such as the general information sheet shown below as well as a set of publicity photographs for re-distribution of the series.

MCFADDEN, STRAUSS & IRWIN PUBLIC RELATIONS PHOTOGRAPHY

As one of the leading public relations and representing agencies in Hollywood, McFadden, Strauss & Irwin Inc. published an unknown amount of public relations photography for Quinn Martin on the series.

PRODUCTION STILLS / LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY

During production of the series, set photography took a number of very nice shots of the actors either at the filming locations as well as throughout the city. Most of these became available when photographers' archives were ceased and sold. Please enjoy some of the finest shots here.
